HOW TO DECODE HUAWEI MODEMS

We all have this crave for using different Sim Cards for our modems after the realization that our original Network Operators are just squeezing too much cash out of us.
To unlock your locked modem by your Network Operator can be done by generating the unlock code online or offline.

STEPS 

1. Look for  IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number which can be found by taking critical look at the writings on your modem.
2. Write your IMEI number which will be used to generate the unlock code down.
3. For online code calculator click here or download the software here.
4. Key in or paste the IMEI number in to the calculator and click on Calculate or Unlock.
5. A flash code and unlock code (NCK) will be generated. Copy the NCK code down.
6. Put a different SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card into the modem and connect. A pop-up window will appear requesting for unlock code.
7. Input your generated code and unlock. NB. Some modems request for not more than ten (10) unlock attempts, so be careful to get the unlock figures right.
